What it’s like to be CFO

As any CFO today knows, the role has evolved dramatically in recent years. CFOs are responsible not only for ensuring an organization’s financials are operating effectively but they are also increasingly involved in other areas of the business, like strategy and managing risk. In this episode we spoke with our very own CFO at OSCPA, Kyle Bickhart. He told me more about what it was like to transition into the CFO role, coming to a nonprofit after working in big business, what has surprised him along the way and advice for aspiring CFOs.
