How to have difficult conversations with your manager

There are certain conversations with your manager that require more nuance and forethought before you sit down to talk. I spoke with Kristen Rampe, CPA and owner of Rampe Consulting about navigating those difficult discussions and how to make it out of them without damaging your relationship with your manager. We discussed what your end goal should be when you’re done talking, how to salvage the discussion if it’s not going well and what most people don’t do enough when having tough conversations.
